• Details: Is it a front side ski, an all mountain ski or a big mountain ski? Well, that really depends on you, the skier. At 90cm under foot, 132cm in the tip and 121cm in the tail, and slow rise in both tip and tail, it does not fit the typical ski in any of those popular ski magazine described categories. With soft even flexing and a slightly wider over all platform it allows some “float” the powder while the 18M radius side cut allows you to carve up the hardpack. Turn initiation is a simple thought process in any condition. Use it where ever you like. We think you will like it everywhere. That is why we call it The Vanguard.
• Platform : The VIICE integrated Bio-Balance Positioning Platform provides the largest “Sweetspot” of any ski. The Bio-Balance platform is centered on the contact length of the ski to provided ease of turn initiation. With the ski boot at this position, the skier can also better use the tail of the ski as a recovery tool should you get to far back on the ski... and don't try and fake like you don't know what we're talking about...
• Rocker: While the Vanguard is built with traditional camber, it has 10 CM of “slow rise rocker” in the tip which makes turn initiation a dream. “Slow rise rocker” eliminates tip flapping while giving full edge contact on firm snow surfaces. This combination is what makes the Vanguard a true one ski quiver.
